Embracing melancholy

On a day full of melancholy
When you feel not quite holy
And the rain makes it worst
Until you feel like you’ll burst

Don’t run from this feeling
Choose immersion, embrace reeling
Then emerge new in the end
Cleansed and ready to ascend
